 Every inspection process step is strictly carried out according to the Manufacturers’ datasheets and customers’ Purchase Orders, which is an essential function of our Quality Control built under the Direction of ISO 9001 and IDEA-1010-STD-B, ensuring the detection of suspect parts and preventive measures are in place – so you can trust that components shipped from Shenzhen Pelco Technology™ Company Limited has passed a rigorous quality inspection process – assuring product quality and consistency.
Each level of inspection follows an escalation track of action, beginning with our: Visual Inspection
Step 1. Visual Inspection
This 1st step inspection is carried out for every batch/lot of components purchased from all suppliers.
● Manufacturer Part Number (To match both Sales order & Purchase order)
● Manufacturer
● Quantity
● Date Codes
● Lot code / trace code
● ROHS, Pb Free
● MSL (Moisture barrier protection)
● Country of origin
● Barcode verification
● Shipping Document verification
● Packing (Tray /Tube / Tape & Reel)
● Checking for Damage (Outer carton and inside vacuum sealing)
● Weighting and Documentation
● Digital photo documentation
Once the visual inspection is completed, and the components are purchased from neither the manufacturer nor their authorized distributors. Inspection process are escalated to the next step.
Step 2. Full Inspection
This 2nd step is carried out by another QC for every batch/lot of the components from all suppliers except the manufacturers and their authorized distributors.
● Review visual inspection findings and notes
● Body Marking (faded marking, broken text, double print, ink stamps, etc. by High-power Microscopy)
● Packaging (Original factory sealed vs. non-factory sealed)
● Dimensional inspections of component
● Other Physical condition checking (lead bands, scratches, chipped edges, etc.)
● Electrical testing to verify circuit value on capacitor
● Top ink mark permanency testing
● Acetone testing for evidence of remarking/resurfacing
