Vendor Management Program
When purchasing components on the open market, we understand that you need the security of knowing that vendors have been carefully screened. Quality assurance begins with our commitment to sourcing quality products from trusted and reliable electronics suppliers around the world. Through our strict vendor management program, Shenzhen Pelco Technology™ Company Limited’s Vendor Management Program ensure all products are procured from safe sources.
Vendor Rating System
Shenzhen Pelco Technology™ Company Limited sources components from qualified vendors you can trust. Through our Vendor Rating System, Our vendor screening assures that we receive only top quality parts and this is the first line of defense against substandard parts.
All of our suppliers are formally selected, qualified, and continually evaluated. We maintain an internal Vendor Rating System that grades vendors based on distribution type, performance, credit worthiness and delivery record. Our “approved vendor list” include and classed as below:
A. Preferred vendors------Manufacturers, Franchised distributors
B. Certified vendors------ Qualified Stockists and independent distributors with long term safe transactions
C. New vendors -------- in probationary period, Use caution
based upon our supplier scorecard that includes the history information of product quality, performance, service fulfillment, stock supply ability, transaction volume, speed time from the initial quote to last delivery, tracked through our highly sophisticated rating system, Vendors in each class are ranked again in more details.
New vendors’ introduction
New suppliers are selected after evaluation of Vendor Application, Vendor Questionnaire, Vendor Performance and Vendor Audit carried out by our purchasing Manager.
As part of our vendor management program, Shenzhen Pelco Technology™ Company Limited thoroughly prescreens all prospective vendors based on a rigorous set of product quality, dependability, periodic on-site visits, and service level standards.
Once Shenzhen Pelco Technology™ Company Limited has approved a new vendor, we closely monitor all activities that include below but not limited t0:
1. no quality problem happen during a 1-year probationary period;
2. no quality problem happen in at least 50 continuous purchase orders from the 1st transaction;
3. no quality problem happen in at least 25K US-Dollar amount of a continuous buying volume from the 1st transaction.
After new vendors are considered to be in C level supliers. Continual monitoring and grading of each supplier are conducted until they are classed into B level, or to be out, that means they are prohibited to buy from anymore.
Ongoing Performance Review
Additionally, Shenzhen Pelco Technology™ Company Limited’s internal monthly quality program meetings are held and archived to review the performance of the all existing suppliers in B and C class. A supplier corrective action request will be initiated for disciplinary action wherever necessary.
This comprehensive process identifies any potential problems or concerns well in advance, to avoid and substandard component reach our customers.
